STUDIES TO CHOOSE FROM:

Romans Vol. 2: The Letter That Changed the World by Tommy Nelson

Study Leader: Sarah Degner
Starts: January 22
11 Sessions
Workbooks: $10

The most important idea in the Bible is how a Holy God can get a sinful man into Heaven and not compromise who He is. Romans tell us just that! It sits as Master of the House before all of Paul's writings. It is the bible in miniature. It is the most important singular document ever penned by man and only inspiration could make it so. Join us in studying the latter half of Romans - even if you were not able to attend the sessions in the fall!!

Proverbs

Study Leader: Paula Lively
Starts: January 22
9 sessions
No Workbook

In the first chapters of our pilgrimage through Proverbs we see that Solomon introduces us to someone we will like. She is a woman…the kind of woman he personifies in Chapter 31. Her name is WISDOM. She is discreet. She is prudent, having the ability to govern & discipline herself by using reason. Solomon addresses his son, encouraging him to pursue her at all costs.

In chapters 5, 6, & 7 he introduces another woman to his son. Describing her in great detail, we know her as the adulteress. Together we will evaluate the attributes of each, deciding if we will pursue Proverbial Womanhood, identifying qualities in ourselves that fit the pattern he wisely recommends. Join in our pursuit.

Titus (Precepts)

Study Leader: Shelley Brown
3 Session dates - January 22, February 5, February 19
Workbooks: $7

Join us for a three-week inductive study on the book of Titus--developing character and integrity in the midst of a society which has lost respect for God. How do you live with integrity in a nation without morals? Can the church effectively engage and change this destructive condition in our society? How does your life reflect your faith? You can change the culture into which God has called you. The dates for this study were chosen to accommodate women who are attending MOPS.

The Hebrew Names of God based on Kay Arthur’s book, Lord I Want to Know You

Study Leader: Cindy Jones
Sessions: 11
Books: $10

So much of our confusion and pain results because we don't know God -- who He really is, how He works in our lives. But learning the names of God will help alleviate that pain. When you know God more fully by studying His names -- Creator, Healer, Protector, Provider, and many others -- you'll gain power to stand strong. You'll find strength for times of trial, comfort for pain, provision for your soul's deepest needs. And your walk with God will be transformed.

Psalm 23: The Shepherd With Me by Jennifer Rothschild

Study Leader: Chrissie Loftis

Many women know Psalm 23 by heart but haven't experienced its power in their lives. This beloved psalm can breathe new life into women who are weary and unsure of their next steps. It's more than a psalm that comforts in death; it gives confidence in life.

In this study by Jennifer Rothschild, gain fresh insight and encouragement from Psalm 23. Explore the depths of God's compassionate care while debunking the self-reliance myth.
